Ingrid Jensen (trumpet)
Among Jensen's many awards is Canada's 1995 Juno Award for "Best Mainstream Artist". The Boston Globe voted the same album #two in the "Best New Artist" category. Jensen has won the 1995 Carmine Caruso International Jazz Trumpet Competition. She has recorded/played with Maria Schneider, Diva and Vienna Art Orchestra. Her several CDs, many which are recorded for ENJA, include such musicians as Bill Stewart, Gary Bartz, Kenny Barron and Adam Nussbaum.


Mike Murley (saxophones)
Mike has appeared on six Canadian Juno Award-winning jazz albums in the 1990's. His latest recieved the 1997 Jazz Report Award for "Best Jazz Album". He was also named "Tenor Saxophonist of the Year" at the Jazz Report Awards in 1998, '97, '95, and '93. Mike has recorded/played with such names as John Abercrombie, Bill Stewart, Randy Brecker, Renee Rosnes and Kenny Wheeler.

Stefan Bauer (vibraphone/producer)
Bauer splits himself rcording and playing between Canada and his home country, Germany. He has recorded/played with Norma Winstone,Tim Hagen, Mick Goodrick, Kenny Wheeler and Adam Nussbaum. Bauer was invited to perform solo at the Seoul Olympic Games and has toured Africa, India and Europe with Drummele Maa (Christoph Haberer).

Geoff Young (guitar)
Young is a key figure in the Canadian jazz scene, sought after for his verastility and ability to thrive in a wide range of contexts.He has recorded/played with names such as Paul Bley, Kenny Wheeler and Peter Appleyard. Young has toured the US and Canada with violinist Lenny Solomon and has recently completed a Europen tour with Stch Winstone.

Ted Warren (drums)
Warren is a high profile Canadian drummer for the ‘Boss Brass’ big band. Among those he has recorded/ played with are Slide Hampton, Sonny Greenich, Oliver Jones, Nick Brigola Gerry Bergonzi and Don Thompson. He was voted "Jazz Drummer of the Year" in the Jazz Report magazine in 1998.

Rick Shadrach Lazar (percussion)
Lazar was voted "Percussionist of the Year" for '96, '97, '98 and 2000 in the Jazz Report. He has recorded/played Arabian music and performed with his group ‘Montuno Police’ featuring Randy Brecker. Lazar was musical director for a fifteen piece Brazilian drumming group. His versatility is evidenced in projects with a broad range of artists; Bruce Cockburn, Loreena McKinnitt, and Michael Burgess are a few.

Jim Vivian (bass)
Vivian is perhaps Canada's most highly regarded bassist. He has appeared on several Juno Award-winning CDs, recording/playing with notable artists such as Jeff Johnston, Bernie Senensky, John Abercrombie, Jerry Bergonzi and John Handy. He has studied with Dave Holland and Marc Johnsoncan also be heard with the Maritime Jazz Orchestra featuring Azimuth with John Taylor, Kenny Wheeler and Norma Winstone.
